A workweek example
Five 10-hour days at $20 produce 40 regular hours and 10 hours at 1.5×: $1,100 gross. Those daily overtime hours are not charged again as weekly overtime.
Supported schedule and limits
The seventh-day rule here applies when you work all seven days in the same workweek. Alternative workweeks, wage-order exceptions and shifts crossing workday boundaries are excluded.
Enter actual work hours in order. Do not average hours across weeks or count a paid day off as time worked. This illustration does not authorize a schedule or establish legal eligibility.
Gross pay is not take-home pay
The optional comparison applies a simple federal withholding scenario and your entered additional deductions. Until those deductions are confirmed, it remains partial. An annual qualified overtime deduction does not automatically eliminate payroll withholding or FICA.
