A workweek example
Five nine-hour days at $20 produce 40 regular hours and five at $30, totaling $950 before withholding and deductions.
Supported schedule and limits
Residential/live-in, agricultural, healthcare, salary-exemption and occupation-specific rules are excluded. Do not use the ordinary 40-hour result for a different statutory work period.
Enter actual work hours in order. Do not average hours across weeks or count a paid day off as time worked. This illustration does not authorize a schedule or establish legal eligibility.
Gross pay is not take-home pay
The optional comparison applies a simple federal withholding scenario and your entered additional deductions. Until those deductions are confirmed, it remains partial. An annual qualified overtime deduction does not automatically eliminate payroll withholding or FICA.
